The Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball team, coached by Jake Diebler in his third season, went 21-13 last season, finished 12-8 in the Big Ten and returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2022. Ohio State lost to TCU 66-64 in the first round as a No. 8 seed. This year's team returns John Mobley Jr. and Amare Bynum and adds transfers Justin Pippen, Andrija Jelavic, Curtis Givens III and Jimmie Williams.
